OPTILINE by MiCROTEC is an easy-to-use software system to optimize cutting decisions. It consists of various modules which can be easily called upon in accordance with the customer’s specifications.

Cameras capture images of logs, cants and beams. OPTiVIEW visualizes the log as a real-time image on the screen.

Predefined cutting patterns are projected in this image. The cutting and order file can be edited easily. The OPTiCUT module automates this process and projects cutting patterns on the log’s profile which was recorded previously by one of MiCROTEC’s log measurement systems.

With OPTiSAW the final sawing process takes place automatically. Then OPTiLINE controls the axial position of the blade or the carriage setworks based on the optimized cutting solution.
