The VARiOSORT integrated software system by MiCROTEC controls the automatic sorting and packaging of lumber and boards after primary processing. It reaches speeds of up to 240 boards per minute transported sideways.

VARIOSORT operates all common mechanical systems such as horizontal and vertical levels, pre and post storage etc. and can be combined with different sequencers.

Various measurement systems can be connected upstream from VARiOSORT, such as BOARDSCAN by MiCROTEC calculating thicknesses, width or length of boards or WaneSCAN, if the uneven edges also need to be taken into account. If quality plays an important role, the system can obtain efficient and precise results with QSCAN by MiCROTEC or it can be controlled manually by the user.
